Setting Up Your Dialup

• Windows 98
• Windows ME
• Windows 2000
• Macintosh

Please note before starting this, make sure your modem is plugged into your phone line and that you have a dial tone. If you do not have it plugged in, or there is no dial tone you will not be able to use dial-up service.

Windows 98 Users:

1. Go into Start, Programs, Accessories, Communications, Dial-up Networking.
2. Double-click the icon to set up a new connection.
3. Name this connection "Atlantech Online" and select your modem from the list of devices and hit Next.
4. Select your home area code and enter the dial-up number provided by your salesperson then hit Next.
5. Now your Connection is set up, click Finish and you are ready to Dial-up.
6. Double-click your Atlantech connection and enter your username and password in order to connect up to Atlantech.

Windows Me Users:

1. Go into Start, point to settings, then Dial-Up Networking.
2. Double-click Make a New Connection and hit Next.
3. Name this connection "Atlantech Online" and select your modem from the list of devices and hit Next.
4. Select your home area code and enter the dial-up number provided by your salesperson then hit Next.
5. Now your Connection is set up, click Finish and you are ready to Dial-up.
6. Double-click your Atlantech connection and enter your username and password in order to connect up to Atlantech.
   

Windows 2000 Users:

1. Go into Start, Programs, Accessories, Communications, Network and Dial-up Connections.
2. Double-click Make a New Connection and hit Next.
3. Select the radio button to Connect using my phone line and hit Next.
4. Enter the phone number provided by your salesperson and hit Next.
5. Select the connection for all users and hit Next.
6. Name the connection Atlantech Online and hit Finish.
7. Double-click this icon to connect up with Atlantech.

Macintosh:

1. Click on the Apple icon in the upper left hand corner.
2. Choose the Control Panel menu and then the PPP option. A window should pop open.
3. Verify that your computer says that it is Connect via Modem. Enter your user name and password and then enter the phone number provided to you by your salesperson.
4. Hit Connect to start your Dial-up Session.
